This DocFX page exists so the documentation hub can link to the API-docs build guide without pointing at generated HTML outside apiDocs/.

The source for the build guide lives in:

• howtoCompileAPIDocs/BuildSoftwareDocs.Rmd

The rendered output is generated alongside that source as:

• howtoCompileAPIDocs/BuildSoftwareDocs.html

Use that document for prerequisites, manifest configuration, and the build-docs.sh / build-docs.ps1 workflows.
